Three - Black Friday/Cyber Monday Offers!

I hope you are all well, as well as being ready and raring to go for Black Friday and the Cyber week period.
Following the announcement of retail stores being closed in England we’ve decided to bring forward our Black Friday to this Friday, the 13th of November (hopefully not a bad omen). Our Black Friday period will last until the 7th of December, though there is potential for this to be extended into early 2021. We will keep you updated on this.
The first batch of new pricing will go live around 9 AM tomorrow and we’ll provide the details & links shortly after. There will likely be a series of amendments to handset pricing in reaction to the market.
On to the fun stuff!
SIM Only:
Three had a highly successful Black Friday last year in 2019 on the back of some strong SIM offerings, particularly 8GB for £8.00.
This year we’re going with 50% more data and hopefully gaining even more customers with 12GB for £8.00. This SIM is already available to our whole partner base and has seen great success with our already leading affiliate market share growing significantly already. With the right exposure, pushes & increased market size I can see this being a highly successful product for all of us.
Our second key product is a new entrant which has been trialled previously which is Unlimited Data, texts & minutes for £16.00 (12 months). On weeks we have pushed this previously we’ve seen great success and the offer has typically gone viral on deal sites. With it being available to all partners for this Black Friday period I’m excited to see what this does, being a fantastic offer at the high end.
This gives us 3 clear pushes:
Low: 4GB for £6.00
Mid: 12GB for £8.00
High: Unlimited for £16.00
These are the SIMs I believe will give us the most success – however; we do also have 1GB for £5.00 & 30GB for £12.00, which are both strong offers.
Contract Handset:
Three has had pretty strong market shares for an MNO in a market dominated by Resellers/Indirect partners. We expect this to become highly competitive and we will continue to review our pricing to ensure we are a leading the MNO & MNVO brands for as many devices as we can – meaning that if a customer wants to come directly to a brand we provide the best value for money.
As expected the key devices fall under the Apple & Samsung portfolios and we will be reducing our prices across a number of devices throughout this period. Since the iPhone 12 portfolio of devices was released, we’ve seen really strong results and a growing market share for what is our most successful iPhone launch so far!
Importantly the affiliate channel is running on relaxed credit rules vs other channels at Three meaning our customers are more likely to pass credit checks on our handsets giving you the best opportunity we can to generate vast volumes of orders.

Broadband:
In recent weeks we’ve been migrating partners to our Awin Program for Home Broadband. This new campaign gives Three affiliate customers access to a coverage checker where we having cheaper pricing across our 4G & 5G home broadband products (typically -£2.00 MRC). I personally have been using Three 5G broadband for most of 2020 and it truly is a fantastic product.
