Dear Wex Affiliates
We’re writing to give you notice of a change to our commission process. In order to build a sustainable affiliate program, we want to stop paying commission where affiliates haven’t been involved in driving the sale, and also prevent affiliates having their commission overwritten by other affiliates last minute. To do this we’re going to use a Basket Freeze model. Once the customer enters the checkout from the basket, the referrer (Wex marketing or affiliate) is set and can’t be overwritten for a period of 30 minutes. For the vast majority of you this will have no effect on commissions, or increase them slightly.
