Introducing ismybillfair.com

Written by Matt Haworth on . Posted in Programme Launches, UK

We created ismybillfair.com to expose the unfair prices many companies charge consumers for their monthly bills, such as Energy, Car and Home insurance, Broadband, Pay TV, and Mobile. We help people to see if they are being overcharged, and help them to do something about it.

We show how the price the customer pays compares to what other people pay - for the same service or package from the same company. If they check and see they are getting a good deal compared to others then they can continue using that service confident that they aren't getting ripped off. But if they see that they are being overcharged, then we can help - in two different ways:

  1. If the provider is a partner of ours, we will work with them to offer the customer a fairer price for staying with them, rather than switching away.
  2. Alternatively, if we can't help get a fairer price from the existing provider, we help the customer switch to get a fairer price elsewhere.

Unlike Price Comparison sites who pay per switch, our process is much more simple and lucrative: Get paid for every unique lead created. We pay for each unique visitor who arrives via your tracking link, performs a simple 60 second check on their current bill, and enters their details to see an offer. They do not need to switch, buy, or enter any payment details in order for you to get paid. Typically 33% of genuine traffic to the site becomes a lead.

And our service has very broad appeal: In research 87% of consumers agreed 'it would be great to see where I stand, i.e. how what I pay compares to what others pay the same supplier for the same service'
