This March, Timberland is ‘taking back the water’ with a collection that captures the essence of the outdoors, designed with the adventurous Timberland consumer in mind.
The Formentor range consists of performance footwear and apparel, uniquely engineered for summer sailing, with an emphasis on style and sustainability. Road tested by the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and drawing influence from Timberland’s New England heritage these styles incorporates a number of pioneering technologies, created for the voyager in us all.
The long and short-sleeved Formentor Sailing Polo is slim-fit and presented in three colour-ways - Dark Navy, Formula One Red and White. Constructed in a four-way stretch fabric, the design features in-built moisture management, odor control and UV protection making it water-ready. The Earthkeepers® Nautical Pique Polo combines organic cotton and polyester for its ‘performance pique’ fabric that wicks moisture away from the body, with anti-microbial components to keep the garment fresh.

The Formentor Ventilate Men’s Boat Shoe with ion-mask™ technology by P2i blends top-level functionality with stylish design and durability, for the highest level performance. The combination of Gripstick™ advanced rubber and liquid-repellent ion-mask™ technologies by P2i push moisture away from the shoe, with built-in drainage ports for efficient drying and enhanced grip.
The Formentor For Women footwear styles feature key Timberland fabrications and concepts, whilst remaining stylish and eco-conscious. The first incorporates a premium leather upper for comfort, durability and abrasion resistance. Hydrophobic breathable materials blended with ion-mask™ technology by P2i keep moisture at bay. The Timberland GSR™ Gripstick™ rubber and multi-directional siped outsole is designed to maximize surface contact for superior traction on wet surfaces.
The superior athletic lace-up shoe features an X-Static® anti-microbial footbed and lining for odor and fungal control, as well as reflective detail for enhanced safety. The women’s alternative offers the same support and function, with a combination of leather and air-tech mesh for a breathable, effortless fit that is barefoot-capable. This style also includes extra ports in the outsole for added drainage and heightened grip, making all the footwear in the collection wet and action ready.
