Three unveils today that all new and existing customers will be able to access unlimited 5G data with no speed caps at no extra cost on all its contract, SIM only and PAYG mobile plans.

Three’s superior 5G network:
Three will roll out its 5G mobile network later this year, across 25 cities, and its customers will benefit from the vast 5G capacity, reliability and speeds that only Three has access to, due to the amount of spectrum (airwaves) it owns. Three is the only UK network that can offer customers a ‘true’ 5G experience thanks to its 100MHz of contiguous spectrum*. At launch, peak mobile speeds will be at least 2x faster than any other mobile network.
Network improvements for all:
It’s not just those with access to 5G that will benefit. Three has been upgrading more than 4,300 sites across the UK as part of a £2bn investment to continue to meet the ever-increasing customer demand for mobile data and services – no matter whether you are on 5G, 4G or 3G. This network upgrade will boost the average data speeds by up to 33% and customers may already have spotted the 4G+ logo on their device when accessing these upgraded sites.

For those customers wanting to get their hands on the very latest handsets ready for the roll-out they can do so from today with the new Huawei Mate 20 X 5G device going on sale today
The Huawei Mate 20 X (5G) will be available to buy from today on various plans although recommended on an unlimited 24 month contract for £79 upfront cost and £61 per month.
Plus customers will receive a free bundled Huawei Mpen and benefit from Three’s exclusive offerings such as Go Roam and Go Binge.
