The Hut Group Feeds - Your input needed!

Product feed improvements.

We are looking to make significant enhancements to The Hut Group feeds, specifically to provide far more product content than we do at present. As we can’t add arbitrary fields to the feed,so the “specifications” field will be used to supply many additional data attributes over and above what is currently in the feed.

We feel the simplest way to achieve this would be to present the data as name/value pairs with data elements separated by a special character, so the specification field would look something like this :

Released=01-10-2007~PriceEuro=39.91~ReviewCount=1~ReviewAverageScore=4.0~Actor=Alice Braga~Director=Francis Lawrence~Director=Andrew Lesnie
