Textures Told - Autumn Collection 2018 - NOW IN

Closet London is pleased to announce our first Autumn Collection of 2018. This is launching this Thursday 5th of July!

TEXTURES TOLD is a modern take on the original 40s Land girl. A strong and confident woman who is as capable as she is pretty.  Set against fields of wheat, she cycles an old-fashioned bicycle dressed in brogues and a pretty dress.

The fabrics used in this collection often have a surface texture; waffle, tweed, velvet and rib in olive green, navy and lime popped with a complimentary flash of a vibrant pink. There are heritage checks and tweeds reinterpreted as a print. It’s a playful twist on the idea of the textures, which at times aren’t even there but implied by the print instead.

Classic dress styles are given a modernised twist with frill sleeves and neck ties. Although the collection has a nostalgic quality, it is current with midi skirt lengths, wide leg trousers and asymmetric details.
