Hi Affiliates

This morning we had a successful launch of our brand new website! Make sure you go take a look – www.my1styears.com. As always, any feedback, suggestions or comments are more than welcome as we strive to improve our experience for customers and affiliate partners.

With this launch, I wanted to share with you some of the fantastic new features:

1. Sleek Design – Our new site is easier to navigate with clearer CTAs. We now have a more modern design and layout to improve visibility of key copy and call to action buttons.

2. Social Media Integration - All our products now include a ‘Pin It’ button for Pinterest and a ‘Like It’ button for Facebook to further integrate social media engagement with our brand.

3. Highlight New Arrivals & Best Sellers - On each of the boys & girls category landing pages, we now highlight new arrivals and bestsellers at the top. By highlighting these products to customers, we expect to see high conversion levels.

4. Filter by Price - Our filter by price feature is perfect for customers searching for gifts with a certain price point in mind. This feature is now visible in the side bar of each category page.

5. Gift List - Customers can now create a gift list on our site. This is convenient for baby shower and birthday wish lists to send to friends and family. The customer can add products to their gift list by selecting the button on any product they desire. Friends and family can search for their gift list by name or ID number and purchase the products they know will be loved.

6. Streamlined Check Out Process - We have reduced our check out process to one page. The previous check out process involved six stages. This should help reduce abandonments and increase conversions.

7. Clearer Customer Information – Our FAQ area and section on delivery & returns has been simplified to give customers more information in a clearer format. This should help reduce confusion on delivery costs and time frames.

8. Don’t Personalise? – Nearly all of our products on site can be personalised and this is one of our USPs, however sometimes customers don’t want to add a message or name to the products. They have always been able to shop without personalising, however this option is now more visible on each of the product pages.
