How far can you travel on an e-bike?
With some of our lower-price electrics bikes you can go up to 20 miles before a re-charge, higher spec bikes can allow you to travel up to 60 miles before an empty battery!
How much does it cost to charge an e-bike?
This depends on the efficiency of the battery, as well as the size! If you are considering cost for distance, e-bikes usually cost around 8-12 pence per mile, a small car can cost 30-150 pence per mile to run.
Tips for extending the life of your battery:
- Keep the battery in a cool place, preferable below 20°C
- Keep the battery partially charged in storage, between 40 and 80 per cent
- Do not fully discharge your battery – try and keep it above 50 per cent charge
