Important - Primus Saver Credit Check & Product Changes

Introduction of Credit Checks

From 1st August 2014 Primus Saver will be introducing credit checks on all customer orders to help us improve the quality of new customers. The checks will be performed as part of the signup process for all new customers and will provide a clear and instantaneous feed to the sales portal, offering the customer a definitive yes/no response.

In addition, any agents operating call centre functions for inbound or outbound sale activity will be supplied with new mandatory script that includes the credit check wording to be used for all sales going forward. This script insert will be supplied by 28th July.

Withdrawal of £1.20 20GB Phone & Broadband Package

Primus Saver has been reviewing its portfolio of Phone & Broadband products, whilst researching carefully into which products perform best in today’s market. In recent times, there has been a move away from Capped Data products, such as 20GB, 40GB limits, to totally Unlimited Broadband, which gives the customer alleviation from any danger of going over their data allowance and incurring further costs.

With the above in mind Primus Saver will be removing its £1.20 Phone & Broadband Special Offer from the 1st August 2014.

The offer, which includes a 20GB data limit, now accounts for a very small percentage of customer orders and will thereafter be replaced with two new Unlimited Data packages in the near future (details to follow in last week of July). This is good news as consumer data consumption continues to grow year on year so the new unlimited packages will help meet ongoing customer data requirements.

Temporary withdrawal of Fibre-Optic Packages

After careful consideration Primus Saver will be removing its up to 38Mb and 76Mb Fibre-Optic Broadband products from sale for a short period of time (likely 3 months), due in part to low demand seen throughout the industry and also to allow for introduction of revised pricing later this year when new wholesale pricing becomes available to the industry.

All Fibre-Optic Broadband Products will be withdrawn at the same time as the £1.20 Phone & Broadband Offer from the 1st August 2014.

Please note all Business products, including Fibre-Optic, will continue the same as before.
