As of next Friday, 30th October, the Foyles commission rate will change as follows:

New commission rate: 4% 

• 4% for new referred customers
• 1% for existing referred customers

We realise this decrease might disappoint many of you, and we are not making this decision lightly. However, in view of the current uncertainty, we have decided to lower our rate in order to ensure the longevity of the programme.

All approved transactions referred before 30th October will receive the original 7% commission.

We have been reviewing our current commission rate and we have decided to adjust our commission level. Therefore, with effect from Monday 30th March 2020 our commission level will switch to a default level of 4%.

We have made this decision as a measure to reduce our marketing costs whilst still remaining highly competitive in comparison to similar merchants. Careful consideration has gone into this decision and subsequently looking ahead we have plans to offer increased commission rates as an affiliate incentive.  More details will be provided about this in due course.  

In addition to the very competitive commission rate we offer, we also provide weekly sales validation, fresh creative, full product feeds and valuable dynamic content to help drive sales from your site.

We're getting in touch to let you know about some planned changes to the O2 program that will take place on the 7th March. If you have any queries please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Commission Changes 

From the 7th of March O2 mobile broadband commission rates will be split into prepay and postpay product sales. Prepay refers to products that are bought upfront at the full price and postpay refers to contract mobile broadband products. This change has been brought in because of changes in O2 product tariffs since the commission rates were originally set. The majority of mobile broadband products are available in prepay and postpay options. These new commission rates better reflect the value of the product being sold and are more simply split. Please note that in your transactions report on Darwin these sales will still be split out by the product type as well (MBBdongles, pocket hotspots, wearable tech and in-car wifi).

Prepay Mobile Broadband products – 2% of overall cost

(Includes mobile broadband dongles, pocket hotspots, wearable tech and in-car wifi)

Postpay Mobile Broadband products - £5 flat fee

(Includes mobile broadband dongles, pocket hotspots, wearable tech and in-car wifi)

New product - In-Car Wifi

As mentioned above, these new commission groups will include sales of O2’s new In-Car Wifi products that are available as prepay and postpay.

Change to Terms & Conditions

O2 will be adding the following new condition to the program from 7^th March:

 ‘Commission will not be paid to cashback and loyalty sites in conjunction with any voucher or discount code unless agreed in writing with O2’.

The reason this condition will be added to the program is because O2 cannot provide a customer with a double discount. This does not apply to non-incentivised affiliates. If you have any queries about whether your site is incentivised or not please feel free to get in touch.

We hope you've had a great week. Today we would like to give you an update about the La Redoute commission structure. As of today we are now tracking for new credit customers in Affiliate Window, and will giving 10% commission all sales that are purchased though La Redoute's 'style' credit account. This is a very exciting update, and a great opportunity for all our partners to earn extra commission through promoting La Redoute.

Here is a summary of the new commission structure:

2% commission for Existing customers

7% commission for New customers

10% commission for Credit customers

We would also like to give all partners that promote our voucher codes a reminder that it is not permitted for affiliates to promote codes that are not issued via the affiliate channel. Any affiliate found to be promoting a non authorised code on their site will have the relevant transaction declined. Could affiliates also please note that codes must be taken down from the affiliates website on date of expiry.

After holding a review of the current program La Redoute have decided that as of August 1st 2015 they will be reducing the commission paid on existing customers from 3% to 2%. However this does mean we will be able to look at paying more for new customers and also potentially for assisting new customers.

We are looking to bring in new commissions levels in August giving you wider opportunities to earn even higher commissions than the 7% on offer for new customers now, so keep an eye on your emails.

One final notice, we would like to make you aware that you can only publish codes authorised via the affiliate channel. If you accept user generated codes please check any La Redoute ones with myself or my colleague Rob Smith.

Dear Affiliates,

We would like to inform you of a change to our commission validation period.

During the Christmas period, we now offer an extended return policy to our customers, who have until Thursday 8th January 2015 to return or exchange any unwanted Christmas gifts.

With this in mind, all commissions for orders dated between Monday 17th November - Monday 8th December will only be validated, if eligible, on Friday 9th January 2015, instead of the normal 30-day validation period. This is to ensure orders are completed and haven't been returned/refunded during the extended period.
