Hyperoptic announces increase to fibre broadband package speeds, with no change to price.

Hyperoptic, the UK’s largest residential gigabit broadband provider, has increased the speeds of their most popular fibre broadband packages, with prices remaining the same.

· 20Mb will increase to 30Mb, and 100Mb will increase to 150Mb.

· Hyperoptic has today announced the increase of their fibre broadband packages, with no change to their prices. The move affects Hyperoptic’s two most popular services, and will see users currently on the 20Mb fibre broadband and phone package receive 30Mb; while users on the 100Mb fibre broadband and phone service will now experience 150Mb – at no extra cost.

· The award-winning broadband provider, currently available in 28 towns and cities across the UK and is growing rapidly, continues to lead the market and supply full fibre broadband right to the property. This means Hyperoptic services are 27x faster than the average speed a UK consumer receives today and, on most packages, provides symmetrical upload and download speeds– perfect for sharing large videos on social media.

· In addition to the package speed increases, Hyperoptic has launched a full brand refresh. This sees the introduction of a new logo and manifesto, which promises to “put an end to bottlenecks” experienced with copper-based technology, and to deliver full fibre technology “once and for all”.
