Please be aware that with immediate effect (Thursday 28th April 2016 at 00:01) the RAC have made the following changes to promotions:

Vehicle Cover Update

  • New Promotion: Free In-Car WiFi from EE worth over £130 when spending £99 or more on breakdown cover.
  • Old Promotion (to be removed): Get a £50 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card this spring.

Personal Cover Update

EE Car WiFi Offer Introduction

RAC is pleased to announce that on Friday 28th April 2016 we will be offering customers FREE in-car WiFi when they buy UK breakdown cover.

When an RAC customer purchases breakdown cover of £99 or more they will qualify for Free in car WiFi from EE - £132 per year / £11 per month worth of data (following online redemption and credit score).

EE car Wi-Fi is available on both Personal and Vehicle Based UK breakdown cover so it appeals to a wide audience.

The EE device provides internet connectivity on the road which will help families who are planning to embark on long car journeys during spring and the school summer holidays.

Please note:

  • There will be a change in pricing on both personal and vehicle based pricing implemented at the same time as the EE offer – please see the separate note about this.
  • The £50 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card offer will end on Wednesday 27th April, so please ensure that this messaging is removed from your website.

Terms & Conditions

The EE Car WiFi Offer

  1. The EE Car WiFi offer can be claimed by eligible new customers purchasing RAC Breakdown cover, when they spend £99 or over in one transaction. The offer includes an EE Car WiFi device and 2GB of data per month for 12 months (worth £11 a month).

To qualify           

  1. To qualify for the EE Car WiFi offer you must purchase RAC Breakdown cover direct from RAC: www.rac.co.uk.
  2. You must pay by annual continuous payment to qualify.
  3. You will be required to provide your payment details to EE and must pass the EE credit check. The EE contract is free for the first year only after which your contract will automatically renew on a rolling monthly basis, using the payment details given when activating your contract, unless you cancel according to EE’s terms.  EE standard terms apply to the Car WiFi service, see www.ee.co.uk/terms, with one exception to the cancellation period: in respect of this offer you have 30 days from the date of dispatch to cancel your free Car WiFi.
  4. Your RAC policy must have started on or before 15th June 2016 and the RAC must have received full payment. You must redeem your EE Car WiFi by July 31st 2016.
  5. The offer is not available to existing RAC Breakdown customers buying (or renewing their existing) breakdown cover or on purchases of breakdown during a breakdown situation.
  6. This offer is fulfilled online and you must therefore provide a valid email address at the time of purchase in order for the RAC to send you details on how to claim your EE Car WiFi.
  7. If you cancel your RAC policy within the first 30 days or payment has not been received in full, your Car WiFi contract will become chargeable (current cost £11 a month, this changes in March annually by the Retail Price Index in Feb that year), unless you return the device to EE within 30 days of its dispatch.   Upon cancellation of your RAC policy, EE will automatically send you packaging to return your device and cancel your contract.
  8. The offer excludes purchases made through, affinity, cashback and voucher code sites.
  9. The offer excludes employees of RAC, their immediate families, agents or any other person connected with the promotion.
  10. Only one EE Car WiFi offer claim per customer, UK residents only.  Offer not transferable.
  11. There are no cash or any other alternatives available.

How it works

  1. Please claim your 12 months free EE Car WiFi before 23:59 on 31st July 2016.  Details of how to claim your EE Car Wifi will be emailed to you within 72 hours of your membership start date.
  2. Please ensure you agree with these terms and conditions before you claim your offer. If you are successfully accepted your Car WiFi will be dispatched within 48 hours.

Things you need to know

  1. Offer is subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and both EE and the RAC reserve the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or to withdraw the promotion at any time.
  2. By participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
