Disclaimer:
Diet Chef is based on an average of 1200 calories per day. Hampers include approximately 800 calories a day, just add fruits, vegetables and milk of your choice to bring it up to 1200. For safe weight loss that can be maintained, an energy deficit of 500 - 700 calories per day is usually recommended. Therefore, certain groups of people, such as men, women who exercise regularly or have more excess weight to lose will need to supplement Diet Chef with extra calories. This can easily be done by adding extra complex carbohydrates foods (brown rice, wholemeal pasta, sweetcorn) or fruit for example.
