November Rail Disruption

New route between Gatwick Airport and Kent, from £5 – one way*
Starting in December, National Express will launch a 24-hour, straight-to-the-terminal bus service between Gatwick Airport and Kent. National Express continues to expand its route network and is launching a new round-the-clock service between Gatwick Airport and Kent starting in December. The UK’s largest coach operator is launching a 24/7 straight-to-the-terminal service with fares on the newly introduced route for just £5 one-way!

Pick up and drop off points will include Canterbury, Chatham, Gillingham, Maidstone, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Travel times will be up to 45 minutes quicker than their rail counterparts, all of which involve at least one change. Both Gatwick’s terminals (North and South) will be served, from locations throughout Kent eight times a day, with journey taking as little as an hour. Tickets are bookable now.

National Express has a great range of coachcards that you can benefit from, all with great savings for families, seniors, young and disabled people.

Families Coachcard

Family 1plus1 Coachcard is just £8 for one year, a child can travel free when accompanied by one full fare-paying adult
Family 2plus2 Coachcard is just £16 for one year, two children can travel free when accompanied by two full fare-paying adults.

Terms and Conditions:

The card entitles one child to travel free with each of the named cardholders on National Express coach services (excluding certain inclusive packages, special offer fares, FunFares and Apex fares). Additional children pay normal child fares.
The adults and children must travel together throughout the journey. The minimum party size is one adult and one child. Card is not refundable or transferable.
Card is not valid with FunFares, Multiride tickets, Season tickets, or special offer fares.
Card is not valid on Hotel Hoppa, Eurolines, Ulsterbus, Third Party or special event services.
Not valid where accommodation, admission or ferry travel is included within the fare.

Senior Coachcard

This year the UK’s largest coach operator is providing services on Christmas Day – with coaches running to key towns and cities and the two busiest airports – to provide the most extensive public transport network during the rail shutdown on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
