A Day of Discovery at Denny Abbey
The day will include a tour of Denny Abbey and a short talk and demonstration about the use of herbs at the time of the Abbey with Ros Wright. Then, following a Ploughman's buffet lunch enjoy a talk 'Morsels of Medieval Music and Dance' with Mike Ruff - there might even be the opportunity to join in with a little dancing, for those who are willing! The day will conclude with afternoon tea and cake.

Join Adrian Green, Director of the Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum for a stroll through the picturesque Hampshire countryside and discover some of the historic sites once excavated by Heywood Sumner.

Historic Churches of Lancashire
Join the experts from the Churches Conservation Trust for a closer look at some of Lancashire's gems. The day will include a visit to Christ Church in Macclesfield then on to St George's Church in Carrington. A light lunch will be served at the Saracens Head in Warburton, followed by a visit to St Werburgh Church in the village. The final church of the day will be St Mary's Church in Thornton-le-Moore before returning to Stockport.
