Hi affiliates,

Introducing this season’s Perfect Party Dress, as voted for by the viewers of ITV’s flagship daytime show This Morning. As well as being designed to flatter every figure, £20 from the sale of each dress will be donated to Cancer Research UK Trading Limited, which gives its taxable profits to Cancer Research UK.

Designed by Stephen Arthur, an ICT teacher from Birmingham, the winning design is a stunning floor-length  ball gown crafted from luxurious red chiffon. Featuring a flattering crossover neckline to create a structured and feminine silhouette, the waist is nipped in and gathered to create a flowing skirt that conjures up images of classic Hollywood glamour.

The Perfect Party Dress is finished with crossover detail at the back, a fitted bodice and a matching chiffon shoulder train. Team with sky high heels and simple, sophisticated accessories for heart-stopping style.

This Perfect Party Dress Competition
In anticipation for the Christmas events season, ITV1’s This Morning joined forces with John Lewis to launch the search for the nation’s Perfect Party Dress. Viewers were tasked with designing a party dress that fits well and makes women look and feel great. It also needed to be affordable and suitable for the current fashion market.

Designers were put through their paces with making their dresses, putting on a catwalk show and window dressing for the judges to then shortlist the final three. Stephen impressed viewers and judges; PPQ founders Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker, This Morning’s resident fashion expert Faye Sawyer and John Lewis’ very own Head of Buying, Womenswear Jo Hooper.

A budding fashion designer, 21 year old Stephen has turned his dream into a reality. He believes that beauty is timeless and every woman should feel fabulous, so his vision was to create a dress that embodied red carpet glamour and a hint of Christmas magic. It will be also be available in John Lewis Oxford Street and John Lewis Solihull.
