Off to University is the single-most important sales period of the year for PCs, Macs and tech accessories. Hence, it’s an EHT ‘event to own’ this year, and will help drive consideration of John Lewis as a leading electronics retailer through asserting our credibility and remaining true to our electricals manifesto ‘Why go anywhere else’.
For Home, off to University represents an opportunity to hero our value range and our more stylist pieces such as House by John Lewis. We should tell product stories that appeal to parent and student alike by show casing our key value but quality pieces such as duvet and pillows, as well as tapping the student mind set of kitting out their own room for the first time and using it as a chance to really show their own identity.
Electicals will be the primary priority with Home, bedding and cook ware as secondary priorities.
