The Hourglass brushes are all nice and large, easy to grip and easy to work with. The brush hairs are made from PETA-approved Takelon bristles. The benefit to using Takelon is that it cannot hold bacteria. If you use real hair brushes and you don't wash them after use, you will be susceptible to cross contamination and breakouts.
