A prize awaits in the Halloween costume competition, bestowed for the most spine-tingling attire each day.

The Illuminated Abbey

Cast light on a dark history. See Bram Stoker’s inspiration in a new light as Whitby Abbey is illuminated with dramatic coloured floodlighting. As you explore its gothic splendour, our costumed characters will introduce the darker side of the past with presentations on grave robbing and witch trials.
