Go Walkies with Guide Dogs
Join the Guide Dogs Team and some of our wonderful pups and dogs on Thursday 5th September for our first ever Stand Out walk along Londons Southbank.
This hour long picturesque walk will kick off at 6:30pm with registration from 6pm outside the Design Museum in Shad Thames. The walk will take you past some of Londons most famous landmarks. Expect to take in the sights of London Bridge, City Hall, The Shard, Shakespeares Globe, Tate Modern, the National Theatre, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye as dusk falls on the city.
The walk will finish aboard the floating Tattershall Castle where you can enjoy a free drink and the perfect viewpoint as we light up the EDF Energy London Eye bright yellow in honour of the build up to Guide Dogs Week in October.
Embracing our Stand Out theme, our walking party will glow and stand out from the London crowd! We will be providing every participant with a free pair of stand out neon glasses or neon dog ears but encourage those who would like to add their own neon accessories!
The walk will have entertainment provided along the route and of course some of our gorgeous guide dog puppies joining in for walkers to admire.
Ticket price is £10, (includes entry to walk, free stand out item, free drink aboard the Tattershall Castle).
All dogs are welcome to take part in the walk, please note that only working guide dogs and guide dog puppies in training will be allowed on board the Tattershall Castle.
