Debbie's guide dog Mary was the best Christmas present she ever had
Debbie began losing her sight during pregnancy and, by the time she gave birth, she could barely see her daughter Amy's face.
Christmas used to be a difficult time as she struggled to go out and buy presents for Amy, but now Debbie has her life-changing guide dog, Mary, she can really look forward to Christmas again. "She's given me back my confidence and helped me be the mum I want to be. I can't imagine life without her."
Mike can't wait for his first Christmas with a life-changing guide dog
In November 2011, Mike's vision started to deteriorate. The day after Boxing Day, he woke up and his sight was totally gone. He wasn't able to see his wife or daughter ever again. But now he is waiting for his first Christmas with a guide dog, to help him regain his freedom and independence.
