Living DNA are delighted to be running a special promotion in honour of National DNA Day on 25th April. DNA Day is celebrated because of the discovery of the DNA's double helix in 1953, then the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003. This date highlights when James Watson, Francis Crick, Maurice Wilkins and Rosalind Franklin published papers in the Nature Journal on the structure of DNA.
The main goal of the celebratory day is to offer the wider public an opportunity to really get to learn about the latest advance in genomic research, their personal DNA and to start to explore how these advances could make a bigger impact on their lives. Living DNA will be offering £20 off their DNA Test between 12pm GMT Thursday 20th April and 12pm GMT Wednesday 26th April.
