The plank is an ideal core exercise for women. It strengthens your back and your abs, making it a great complimentary exercise for Slendertone users.
Step One - Move into the plank position, letting your forearms and toes take your weight.
Step Two - Contract your abdominals and keep your back straight. Look ahead, keeping your neck and back in line.
Step Three - Hold the position for as long as possible.

Step Two - Lift Your hips off the floor. Your knees, hips and shoulders should be in a straight line. Be careful not to hyper-extend.
Step Three - Hold the move for a few seconds, then return to the start position. Repeat.
