Christian Aid Week - Celebrate with 20% Commission
Dear Affiliates,
This Sunday marks the return of Christian Aid Week – our key fundraising moment of the year!
Each year we ask supporters up and down the country to join Christian Aid to give, act and pray on behalf of the world’s poorest people and this year we’ve made it even easier to get involved.
We’ve made a few changes on our website which should make finding out what others will be doing and everything you need to organise an event – much easier to access.
So what are we fundraising for this time? The opportunities that would give women and girls in the Borena community in Ethiopia hope for a brighter future, such as having a cow. In the Borena community, a cow could start the cycle of prosperity for a woman. Milk can be sold to provide an income that would give women more status in their community which would lead to women having a voice to speak up for, challenging domestic violence and ending discrimination. And this could all start with a cow!

Our multichannel nationwide campaign will bring the stories of women like Loko to life and will be featured across DM, Print, Outdoor and Digital channels.
For you our affiliates – we’ve uploaded banner pools and a text link (available in 320x50, 468x60, 728x90, 300x250 and 120x600) which point to our donation page. These are now saved under the name of Appeal 2015:
Commission on single gifts will be increased to 20% during Christian Aid Week, where it will revert to 10% from Monday 18th May and if you promote us through social media; please use the hashtag #caweek – to include us in your posts.
The TV advertisement goes out on Sunday, so be sure to have your activity in place by then!
