The Royal BLUE Effect
Britain’s nurseries turn blue as Kate Middleton prepares for the royal baby's birth.
With a new prince or princess expected to arrive any day soon, Royal baby fever is sweeping the nation. But many other mothers and fathers across the country will also be celebrating a special day by welcoming the arrival of their new baby.
Even though latest betting activity suggests the baby will be a girl, nurseries nationwide are turning blue, as B&Q, the UK’s largest home improvement company, sees a rise in sales of kid’s blue wallpaper and blue paint.
The top selling kids’ wallpaper is a red/blue stripe wallcovering Multicoloured Stripe Wallpaper, 5022976411616 (£9.98), while blue paints are also the winners compared to pink, with Colours emulsion in Sky being the most popular shade. Colours by B&Q Matt Emulsion Sky
