Hi everyone.

In July last year we made changes to our goodybags and in particular, some big improvements to the £5 and £7.50 goodybags, increasing the amount of data in the £5 goodybag five-fold from 100MB to 500MB, and doubling the data in the £7.50 goodybag from 1GB to 2GB.

These changes were very popular, and it’s really clear to us how much our members liked them – more than we even anticipated. At the same time, the UK mobile market has become extremely competitive, so in order to make sure we can continue to be the strong business our members want us to be, we need to make a few changes.

Members on the £5 and £7.50 goodybags aren’t big data users - on the whole, they care much more about minutes. Based on that, on 9 May 2019 we’ll be making the following changes:

£5 goodybag

Double minutes - from 150 to 300

Price move - from £5 to £6

£7.50 goodybag

Double minutes - from 250 to 500

Price move - from £7.50 to £8

We never like to raise our prices, so we’ve tried to make sure these goodybags are more valuable than before by doubling the minutes available - in short, it’s a little more money for a lot more talk time.

We also need to change the cost of mobile data when members' allowance has run out from their goodybag to bring it in line with our normal PAYG rates. From 9 May 2019 this change will apply to every goodybag.

Price move - from 2p/MB to 5p/MB for mobile internet outside of your goodybag allowance

We’ll be contacting all affected members to let them know about the changes, a month before it happens.

As I mentioned above, the UK mobile market is more competitive than ever, and we also know that we’ll have to be competitive on more than just price. Part of being run by you means that we always want to hear our members' ideas for the next big thing, to make mobile far more than just a discussion on how many mins, texts & MB you get for their money.

The £5 and £7.50 goodybags will be updated on the 9th May.

Please see below a reminder about the Audible validations process effecting March 2019 transactions.

Audible (MID: 8095) has been experiencing technical issues due to incorrect Awin tags on site which is leading to an inflated number of transactions in the Awin interface. We have been tracking a large number of transactions due to duplicate transactions and transactions not relevant to the affiliate channel.

Due to the nature of these tracking issues and to ensure best possible accuracy we have decided that we will be declining all March 2019 validations and manually uploading these transactions using the correct Audible internal data.

Please be assured we are looking into these issues and hope to have them resolved as soon as possible.

We have shared some FAQs below which will hopefully answer any questions you may have.

What are the tracking issues?

-  The configuration of the AWIN tags on the Audible site is set up incorrectly, therefore transaction results have been inflated within the AWIN reporting system.

Why am I seeing a higher amount of transactions than usual?

-  Due to the incorrect configuration of the AWIN tracking tags, some transactions are firing more than once and inflating performance.

How will Audible reward me for March transactions?

-  Due to the sheer volume of transactions Audible have made the decision to decline all transactions and upload them manually instead to avoid any inaccuracies.

When will I receive commission for March transactions?

- We will be looking to decline current transactions and manually upload the March transactions this week. Commission will be received in the normal time frame. Uploading transactions manually in this way, will not affect payment terms.

What information will the manual upload contain?

-  The manual upload will include all necessary information including sale amount, commission amount, order reference, and click reference.

When will the issues be fixed?

- Audible are working with Awin to investigating this issue and are looking for a fix as soon as possible.

Shall I still promote Audible during this time?

Yes – Audible’s internal reporting is still functioning correctly and all valid sales will be uploaded.

As you all know we have recently updated our Car Insurance programme to pay our partners on a policy model. This brings a great reward to you as we will now pay £25 commission per Car sale.

What are the key changes?

Compare the Market will stop paying commission on quotes for Car insurance on the 28^th of April and from then on, will pay £25 commission for each unique Car insurance policy purchased.

What is a click reference?

PLEASE NOTE: We have tested the tracking extensively and are confident this is working correctly and always aim to reward you for your efforts.

What are the changes to the reporting of the commission?

When a user completes a Car insurance policy via the updated link, we will be able to track the policy and verify it with our partners. Initially this will be visible in the AWIN dashboard with a zero value.

We aim to upload all the completed policy transactions onto the AWIN dashboard within 30 days and will then assign the £25 commission per validated policy.

PLEASE NOTE: We will stop paying commission on quotes for Car insurance from the 28^th of April so it is essential that you update to the correct tracking links as shown above prior to the cut-off date.
