Free parking during the week!
Until 31 March, cars and motorbikes can now park FREE at the Zoo after 10am Monday-Friday, saving £14.50!
Charges at other times and for other vehicles still apply. Parking space subject to availability.

Keepers kick off Zoo’s big count
Zookeepers at ZSL London Zoo readied their clipboards, calculators and cameras – as they welcomed in 2017 with the Zoo’s annual stocktake.
Caring for more than 700 different species, ZSL London Zoo’s keepers started the challenging task of tallying up every mammal, bird, reptile, fish and invertebrate at the Zoo - counting every creature from magnificent tigers to tiny Partula snails.
2016 saw the arrival of many new animals at ZSL London Zoo, including the Zoo’s first ever aye-aye baby Malcolm, a pair of Sumatran tiger cubs called Achilles and Karis, four Humboldt penguin chicks and a colobus monkey, a mangabey and a Sulawesi crested macaque joined the Zoo’s primate families - all of which will be added to the 2017 census.

ZSL London Zoo Stampede
Sign up to this unique event and join us, and thousands of others, in raising funds for wildlife. Our popular Stampede 10k is back for 2017 with two dates, as well as a 5k on offer too!
Whether you're looking for a new challenge or want to add something different to your Sunday morning run, the ZSL London Zoo Stampede provides you with the perfect opportunity to walk, run or jog and visit your favourite animals as a post workout reward as with entry to this event includes entry to the zoo after the run.
Our roar-some Stampede event will take place on two dates, 26 March 2017 and 17 September 2017, with the option to take part in either our 10k or 5k race.
Friends and family are also welcome to cheer you on with a Stampede Spectator Ticket.

Land of the Lions
ZSL London Zoo’s newest and most breath-taking exhibit transports visitors from the heart of London to India’s vibrant Sasan Gir, where they can get closer than ever before to mighty Asiatic lions.
Three walkways cover the 2,500sqm exhibit with thrilling, immersive Indian-themed areas to explore - including a train station, crumbling temple clearing, high street and guard hut.

Gir Lion Lodge
Ever wondered what it would be like to sleep over at the Zoo? Find out for yourself with a stay at the Gir Lion Lodge.
Located within roaring distance of our Asiatic lions, guests can experience the Zoo in a whole new light and discover what happens when visitors go home…
The Gir Lion Lodge is hidden away within our Land of the Lions development where guests will bed down for the night in our beautifully decorated lodges inspired by the welcoming charm of hotels in the lion’s native Gir Forest home in India.
The experience runs six nights a week from February to December, with designated family-friendly nights and adult only nights to ensure each stay is specially tailored to its guests. Free car parking at ZSL London Zoo is included.
