Marbella – terrific beaches, especially the Western end of Venus Beach as you are so close to the town centre, and to the old town); great for a tapas 'crawl' from bar to bar sampling their taster menus.
Seville - quintessentially Andalusian city that is famous for far more than its oranges; packs the best nightlife, the tastiest tapas bars and some of southern Spain’s finest monuments into its riverside metropolis.
Cordoba - superb restaurants, vibrant nightlife and dozens of beautiful patios lavishly planted with foliage and blooms.
Tangier - on the coast of Morocco is very accessible. The regular fast ferry transports you from Algeciras (an hour from the resort) direct to Tangier in just 35 minutes. Tangier has a wonderful café society, sweeping sandy beaches and the fabulous souks of the medina.
