It's a new year and there are lots of fantastic ways you can help Guide Dogs in 2014. So forget those dreary New Year's resolutions, step out of the gym, eat that Mars bar, but make 2014 the year you help us change the lives of people with sight loss. Here's how you can help:
Be adventurous
Whether you are looking for a weekend of team building, the chance to meet new people and share similar experiences or just an excuse to have a weekend away in the stunning Lake District, the Coniston Adventure Team Challenge could be the event for you.
You will also celebrate together with a night of food, live music and entertainment. What's not to love?
Take action
Sight loss is a fact of life for many thousands of people in the UK. We're fighting alongside them for the rights that most sighted people take for granted.

Becoming a volunteer is a great way to socialise, use your skills and really make a difference. At Guide Dogs there are over 50 different volunteering roles to choose from.
Help out
Can you spare a few hours a week to help someone with sight loss near you get back on the road to confidence and freedom? We have been providing life-changing guide dogs for more than 80 years, but our new My Guide service is a fantastic way to help someone with sight loss get out and about.
Stand Out
Guide Dogs Week 2013 was the best yet, with thousands of people standing out with our hi-viz theme. Whether it's fire walking, football , fashion shows, cocktails or cakes, we need even more of you to Stand Out for Guide Dogs, 4-12 October 2014.
