Good news! Every pound donated to the Christian Aid Christmas appeal will be doubled by the UK Government, meaning double the difference for people living in poverty.
With your help Christian Aid can make every £1=£2, so the programme will award double commission on single donations made between the 17th November and 17th December 2014!

Christian Aid is currently responding to the serious crisis in Gaza. Thousands of innocent people have been killed and injured. Thousands more have fled their homes - but there is simply no refuge.
We're deeply concerned for the security of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians and condemn all violence against civilians without exception. We will address humanitarian need wherever it is.
As a response to the crisis we are running an appeal with the Disasters Emergency Committee and other UK aid charities. You can help support the appeal by directing people to make a donation to Christian Aid by using the following text link:

It was at this time last year that we launched the Christian Aid affiliate programme and thanks to your support, we are still here fighting to eradicate the causes of poverty.
Christian Aid Week is just two days away and from Sunday 11 May until Saturday 17 May, supporters up and down the country will join Christian Aid to give, act and pray on behalf of the world's poorest people.
So once again we ask, can you help us promote Christian Aid Week this year?
Our theme is ‘peace and reconciliation’ and this year Christian Aid Week aims to give people a life free from fear by tackling the causes, not just the consequences, of conflict. We bring you accounts from families helped by our partners in South Sudan, Colombia and Iraq, and the heartbreaking circumstances, born out of conflict, which led to them needing help.
We’re going out with promotions across TV, Print, Radio, Outdoor, Digital channels and be sure to look out for our TV advertisement.
To support our biggest moment in the Christian Aid calendar, you can do one or all of the following:
Creatives – upload one of our banners pools (available in 468x60, 728x90, 300x250 or 120x600) that direct visitors to our Colombia story:
Video – share our TV advertisement which looks at the terror of conflict through a child's eyes. Wayisaba Kabinza and her three younger siblings were separated from their parents when rebels attacked their village in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Social – send out a tweet using our hashtag #caweek on Twitter or boost awareness of our campaign by linking to our Facebook page
Plus commissions on single gifts will be increased to 15% during Christian Aid Week, where they will revert to 10% from Monday 19th May!

In the lead up to Easter, we want to update you on two new developments on the Christian Aid affiliate programme.
Nets Now campaign
We’re pleased to say that due to its success, we will be extending our Nets Now campaign - as a longer term element of our programme.
This is supported by frequent offline activity on outdoor media including trains, tubes and motorway rest stops - so there is already a level of awareness in the wider public about this. If you haven’t done so already, don’t forget that you can find the Nets Now banners in the creative library.
Easter appeal
This year, our Easter appeal seeks to help 900,000 people who have been displaced as a result of the recent conflict in South Sudan. Around spring and Easter, South Sudan experiences a heavy rainy season. This increases the risk of diseases such as malaria and cholera, particularly among pregnant women and children.
We are asking for Easter gifts to help provide families with an emergency survival kit containing a mosquito net, plastic sheeting, water containers and cooking utensils. Find out more about the campaign here.
