Many drivers experience the benefits of air con in their car or van on a hot day but just like other parts of your car, the air-conditioning system also needs regular attention to ensure it continues to work efficiently and effectively.
You may not be aware that over 10% of air-con gas permeates from the air-con system every year, which means that it may not work as well as it should. This is why car manufacturers recommend your air-con system is recharged with gas and lubricant every 2 years. This service is not part of routine vehicle servicing, so if your vehicle is more than 2 years old it’s probably due an air-con recharge.
Kwik Fit offers a complete air-conditioning recharge service for only £49 - available at centres across the UK. Operated on a drive-in basis, appointments are usually available on the same day. However, for added convenience, you can book an appointment online at your local Kwik Fit centre.

Let Kwik Fit recharge your air con while you wait. We will replace and recharge lubricant and refrigerant levels in line with your manufacturer’s recommendation. If we cannot improve the coolest vent temperature from your car by more than 10% when measured in degrees Celsius - then you pay nothing at all.*
