adidas Originals explore concepts of uniform and utility in a collaboration with London-born designer Craig Green.

Inspired by the rich sporting heritage of adidas - adidas Originals continues to evolve the brand’s legacy through its commitment to innovation and its ability to filter creativity found in sporting arenas through the lens of contemporary youth culture. In doing so, they have enlisted progressive menswear specialist – Craig Green, in a collaborative offering of the Kontuur silhouette.

Green has become a highly anticipated designer in the menswear realm in recent years, known for his firmly rooted collections of simple, rigorously considered signature garments, his distinct approach comes with substance and spectacle. He has carved a way as one of the world’s most innovative talents and it’s without question that this collaboration with the sportswear giants comes at a perfect time.

Showcased at Craig Green’s SS20 London Fashion show last year and split into two designs, the first takes on the adidas’ Kamanda inspiration, with a sole-unit dedicated to the shoe. Dressed in black, the sneaker adorns the classic adidas trefoil logo with Craig Green branding sitting on the tongue tab. The second comes in grey and black colourways, both accentuated in suede fabrication featuring a three-stripe design backed in an all-black sole unit.
