With the formulation of a code of conduct for the voucher code market in 2008, a standardised best practice framework was introduced. The presentation of a new set of guidelines naturally caused confusion and questions were to be expected. In order to address any outstanding queries, The IAB has now launched a revised version of this code of conduct, tightening existing language as well as requesting increased monitoring by all advertisers. Affiliate Window has put together a six page guide that goes into far greater detail about each aspect of the code and its current iteration. If you would like to receive a copy then please email Affiliate Window’s Strategy Team.
The ultimate aim for all our publishers is to make money promoting our advertisers. However, to do this it is important that traffic data is utilised to its full potential. Affiliate Window’s Head of Publisher Services, Edwyn McFarlane discusses Declined Transactions: Conversation Starter or Commission Killer in an article published on PerformanceIN. In it, learn more about why you should be viewing decline rates more so as positive opportunities rather than obstacles to success.
We kicked off All Aboard 2013 in style last Tuesday with a full day of networking and sector specific presentations. The Emirates Stadium played host to a multitude of travel top dogs including lastminute.com and LowCostHolidays along with various publishers from the travel sector. Our Travel Vertical Specialist, Vishal Patel introduced the event, advising all attendees on what to expect from the day. Read the full round-up on our blog; we hope to see you there next year!
Finally, we have picked the winners of our Father’s Day competition “Dad Always Says…” Our Facebook page was inundated with hilarious yet wise words from fathers of all walks in life and we were gutted to have to only pick two winners. Congratulations are in order for first prize winner Duncan Thomas of www.majesticmedia.co.uk and second prize winner Richard Harper. Keep an eye on our blog for the next publisher competition as it could be your name we pick out of the bag.
Until next time,
