Trick or tweet! All Hallows' Eve is nearly upon us and we want our publishers to get into the spirit (pun intended)! We are offering three devilishly delicious life size Hotel Chocolat skulls to our publishers who engage via Facebook and twitter. To be in with a chance of winning, you simply need to send us a tweet including #DWHorror to tell us your favourite horror movie character, or you can a tweet a photo of yourself or people you know in their spooky costumes including #DWBoo. If you prefer, you can send us your costume ideas on Facebook, where we're also after your Halloween howlers. Post a seasonal joke to our Facebook wall to be in with a chance of winning our third chocolate skull. The creepier and cheesier the better. Last week it was all about a4uexpo London, with 1000 performance marketing delegates congregating in a new venue for the biggest and best conference to date. On our stand this year we hosted an interactive quiz about all of the territories that our group covers. With big prizes up for grabs, courtesy of performance marketing innovators Buyagift, we had plenty of people taking up the challenge. In the end first prize went to the mighty brain of Tanya from Boden. Publishers picked up our other two prizes, with Dom Hodgson coming in second and Joe McKenna of Shopalike.co.uk in 3rd. The opportunity afforded by a4uexpo brings with it lots of new research and survey findings. As well as Bigmouthmedia's affiliate survey (see our round-up here), Econsultancy and a4u also released their 2011 Affiliate Census report to coincide with this year's conference. The 55 page report promises to be "the most detailed study available about the make-up of the affiliate community," and is free to download for Econsultancy members. What do you get if you cross a vampire and a snowman? ...Frostebite! And with the clocks going backwards this weekend, there will be plenty more of that around. Don't blame us, if you're late in to work next Monday!
