Hello and welcome to 2013!

We hope you had a very merry Christmas and an extremely happy new year. With the festive excitement now behind us, it’s time to look ahead to what will hopefully be an exciting and prosperous year. First things first, do you have a calendar sorted to help you plan out the new year? If not, head over to the Encephalitis Society shop where you can purchase one of a limited run of our very own 2013 calendar, The Naked Network, featuring brave members of the AW work force baring all for a fantastic cause.

It’s sales time and as advertisers slash prices up and down the country, consumers will be on the hunt for the latest bargains and deals to keep their spirits high amidst the Christmas comedown. Check out the Fashion category on our publisher portal, TheHub, where you can get all the latest news and promotions on all stylish offers. Whether your visitors want to rock a vintage look, exude classic elegance or just relax in casual home wear, our advertisers can help you cater to their desires. With so many January sales going on, there is a bargain to be had by all. There are sales taking place in all sectors so don’t miss out. All promotions on TheHub can be filtered down by type and sector which means less sorting through streams of content and more time to get creative!

Feeling nostalgic? 2012 was a great year full of informative data and research. One might say it was the year of M-Commerce. Our Strategy team have done a great job of compiling the latest stats and figures on a monthly basis. For further insights, you can sign up to the Strategy newsletter by emailing the team. Also, be sure to keep a lookout as the latest M-commerce whitepaper is scheduled to hit the press shortly.

There have been some fantastic industry articles published in the last twelve months. If you’re after a good read, take a gander at Head of Publisher Services, Edwyn McFarlane’s article Top 10 Affiliate Marketing Tools for the cream of the crop in campaign building tools. Or if surveys are more your thing, refresh your memory with the IAB Annual Affiliate Advertiser Survey where it was shown that a 45% uplift in investment from brands in their affiliate programmes increased commission payments and confidence in the year ahead. As always we will be keeping our blog and social channels up to date with all network news and any other titbits of useful information that we come across.
