Next Friday, when the affiliate industry is recovering from the one and only Digital Window black tie gala, the world of fashion will be descending on Somerset House for the glamorous pageantry of London Fashion Week. For the third year running, the build up to the main event sees a week of fashion events for those with a more normal budget, as Oxford Street hosts the best of the High Street. Until September 9th, there will be parties, promotions and pop-up stores for High Street Fashion week. Affiliate Window advertisers will be hosting events and parties, building up demand for their current collections as we move into party season. The likes of John Lewis, Selfridges, MOSS and New Look all have plans, so follow our dedicated fashion specialist to keep up to date with fashion related offers and events.

Secured your pass for this year's a4uexpo? Time to start planning which session can't be missed. Last week, the full agenda for both expo days was released, including details of the presentations and discussions that Affiliate Window hot shots will be hosting. All of our strategy team experts will be leading a session about their specialist subject, covering weighty topics from m-commerce to the long tail. Our Managing Director will also be participating in a panel discussion about the actual role of networks as a whole. See our blog for more details and links to the full agendas.

It's time to get C0NN3Cted with your mobile and telecoms partners, at Affiliate Window and buy.at's first networking event dedicated to that sector. We will have a live twitter feed at the event so follow @AffWin and #conn3ct to find out what's happening down at 24 Kingly Street. We look forward to welcoming all our publisher attendees to the event.

Feeling a bit in the dark about the new EU privacy directive and how it might affect you? If all of the discussion and conflicting advice around this issue is leaving you a bit cross-eyed, take a look at a recent interview from our strategy director, Kevin Edwards. Kevin spoke to UTalkMarketing about the new law to clarify what this really means for the affiliate industry.

Until next time,

Katherine Eames
