Publisher News

Get ready kids, it’s almost time to go back to school. Now this can either be good or bad news depending on how you look at it. Either way, it’s time to start sharpening those pencils as the big return looms. Our advertisers are busy pushing the best academic offers, from new equipment to school uniforms, in our featured category on TheHub. Check out all the latest promotions, just in time for the back to school rush.

In industry news this week, we're already gearing up for a4uexpo London, which will be rocking into town on October 16th and 17th to provide a key highlight in the performance marketing calendar. As a fresh and innovative way to engage with their audience, the a4u are giving you the opportunity to instagram your way to a4uexpo London 2012. Get your hipster on and share a picture showing what performance marketing means to you and you could win a full pass to the conference, a 5* stay at the Hilton London Metropole and a bottle of chilled champagne in your room! You can find full details of how to get involved on the a4uexpo blog, but hurry, closing date for entries is midnight Friday 24th August.

Don’t forget, this is the final week to make your voice heard as a publisher. US based AffiliateBenchmarks is looking to you for feedback on the performance industry over here. The purpose of the study is to increase education and provide reliable and insightful information to those involved in the industry. You have until August 25th to complete the survey. Have your say in order to get a free copy of the full report when it is released.

And finally, we’d like to say a huge congratulations to the Affiliate Window ’Peak Too Soon’ team. Very early on Saturday morning, our intrepid mountaineers started their 24 hour challenge and came back with the UK’s 3 Peaks conquered. Despite weary limbs, we had no doubt our team would have any difficulty in tackling the mountains, especially not after all the training and fighting talk discussed in their entertaining pre-climb video. The climb may be over, but the fight is not. You can still show your support for the Encephalitis Society by visiting the team’s JustGiving page.

Until next time,
