No doubt you’ve noticed that Valentine’s Day is tomorrow! We ran a fun competition for all publishers last week offering a chance to win a chocolate Valentine’s treat. To enter the prize draw, all we asked was that you voted in our Facebook poll, letting us know how you would be celebrating on Tuesday. We’ll be announcing our winners shortly, but it was great to see that there aren’t as many cynics out there as we thought –‘boycotting the whole affair’ came in as the least popular answer. Whether you will be pulling out all of the stops or having a quiet night in with that special someone, or even just spending the time showing friends how much you care, we hope you feel loved this week.
Voting opened today for the Performance Marketing Awards’ Community Choice Awards. If you are a member of affiliates4u you simply need to login and click here to have your say. You can find out more about these awards in yesterday’s affiliates4u announcement.
Have you booked your place at the Online Advertising & Affiliate Expo (OA&A) yet? Registration is now open for this two day event, which will be at Earls Court 2 as part of the Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A) show on 28th and 29th February. It’s free to register and passes give access to the Direct Marketing Expo and Publishing Expo as well as TFM&A and OA&A. There are twelve keynote sessions across the two days, plus nine separate seminar themes, including a dedicated affiliate marketing programme in the affiliate marketing theatre. We’ll be releasing more details about the sessions that our own strategy team will be involved in next week, including a keynote talk about M-Commerce and Performance Marketing.
We are always interested to see one of our advertisers investing in innovative or game-changing tools. This week it was the turn of Seatwave, who made it into technology news with the launch of their powerful new API. All the information affiliates need to get started with integrating live, flexible ticketing information into their sites and apps, is available on the Seatwave developers portal. To get creative juices flowing, they have even thrown in some ideas for how the API could be incorporated into apps. If you have any questions about how to use their API with Affiliate Window, contact Tom.Raby@AffiliateWindow.com.
Until next time,
