14th November 2011

Publisher News

It may only be November 14th, but here at Affiliate Window and buy.at we’re already dishing out presents from Santa’s sack. So far, we have given our publishers the chance to win a classic Christmas hamper and a brand new Kindle with £100 worth of Amazon vouchers. This week, there’s another gift up for grabs in our festive prize draw. All in all we have ten weeks worth of prizes to give away, and, seeing as 2011 saw the ten year anniversary of our tacking code, we thought that this week’s competition should be all about tens – a special X-mas competition. We have a copy of your own choice of top ten Blu-ray films to give away (along with a Blu-ray player to play them on of course) to the winner of our third prize draw. To gain an entry to the draw, you simply need to promote at least ten different programmes. There’s a lot of consumer browsing going on at the moment, so we won’t punish publishers with slower conversion periods – as long as you have generated at least ten clicks for those ten merchants, then we will count that as promotion. Find our more on our dedicated Christmas competitions page.

The battle for most memorial Christmas advert has begun! Our advertisers are always well represented on the seasonal small screen, with high street names and online specialists alike hoping to capture the imagination of budding Santas everywhere. Some of the biggest adverts released recently, include offerings from John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Littlewoods, all of which will be having a positive impact on their consumer traffic. Keep your eyes peeled for more magical TV moments as we get closer to December, as they usually results in a nice boost in sales.
