Football is undoubtedly the nation’s favourite sport. With the Barclays Premiership league drawing to a close, Manchester United is sitting firmly at the top and upcoming defensive midfield player, Phil Jones, is the latest hot commodity in the world of sport. This is just as well because Mr. Jones is the new brand ambassador of Dead Legacy - the professional footballers clothing brand of choice. Get to know the man behind the boot by checking out Dead Legacy’s video interview which focuses on cooking, film, music and more. You can also learn more and join the Dead Legacy programme here.
We are abuzz with anticipation and excitement as the theme for our 7th black tie event has now been announced. Mythica will be held on 12th September 2013 and will see 500 online marketing professionals descending on The Brewery for an evening of revelry and refreshment, nourishment and networking. All in all, the event promises to be an unforgettable experience and we look forward to welcoming our publishers who attend the event.
Our good news doesn’t end there however. The winners of the inaugural Mobile Retail Awards were revealed last week and we were very honoured to take home the Best Mobile Affiliate Campaign for our ongoing project “Making Mobile Count.” With over 12,000 handset and tablet transactions recorded each day, we identified the need to ensure that these opportunities were clearly optimised. Adam Ross, Chief Operating Officer at Affiliate Window and David Murphy, Editor of Mobile Marketing Magazine comment on the award in our official press release.
We are always striving to ensure that our partners have access to detailed strategy updates from across the performance marketing industry, and our vocal strategy team is constantly working on adding to their monthly newsletter. Finally, last year the Affiliate Marketing Council issued a framework for publishers confused about the ePrivacy Directive. In light of some changes since the legal enforcement of the Directive last May, the AMC has updated the framework. You can read more about it here.
Until next time,
