“The British have rolled out the red carpet for French athletes to win medals.” This weekend saw Team GB prove French President Francois Hollande wrong as we witnessed our athletes deliver history-making  performances. On an unforgettable night, thousands cheered on Mo Farah, the first Brit to ever win the 10,000 metres, Jessica Ennis who took gold for the women’s heptathlon and Long Jump champion Greg Rutherford, the first British man to take the title in nearly 50 years. The success continued throughout the weekend as Sunday saw Andy Murray exact his revenge for his Wimbledon defeat to Federer in a best of five sets match. With so much buzz in the atmosphere no amount of rain can take away from what is no doubt going to be a summer to remember.

In an industry where trends simply change in a blink of an eye, failure to prepare = preparation to fail. We recently spoke to Affiliate Window Fashion Specialist, Vivien Man about her role, the strengths and challenges of the performance marketing channel within fashion, and her own thoughts on the industry as a whole. Read her full interview live on our blog.

They say that the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. The performance marketing industry, to those not in the know, has always been looked upon as something to be wary of. Nick Caulfield, Head of Key accounts here at Affiliate Window has recently written an article which aims to dispel the myths surrounding this sector. Don’t be scared, read it live on Econsultancy.

Finally, we would like to thank you all for your patience regarding the recent interface issues we have been experiencing.  Keep an eye on our blog for full status updates on all affected areas.

Until next time,
