Probably the prettiest collection to grace the catwalk, Emilia Wickstead’s SS16 collection toyed with childish cuts, touch-me pastel fabrics and emphasised and embellished necklines.

Make Do & Mend
Delicate deconstructed silhouettes were sashayed down the runways of everyone from Roksanda Illincic to Preen to Peter Pilotto.

Cold Shoulder
SS16 is all about the shoulder. Embellished, cut out, ruffled or left completely bare, the shoulder is going to be the key focus for summer. Erdem, Pringle of Scotland and Jonathon Saunders dared to bare.

Tie It
Function was made fashion with knotted straps, decorative bows and Boy Scout cord ties, making the classic loop-and-pull, the favoured fastening this coming summer. Simone Rocha and Phoebe English done it best.
