1. Buy leads

We’ll send you unlimited email alerts based on your location, trade and the types of jobs you’re interested in. You can then choose which leads you’d like to buy (leads start from just £2 + VAT).

We don’t take any commission on jobs – you just pay for your membership (less than 65p per day) and any leads you want – more about how much it costs

2. Call the customer

Once you’ve bought the lead, you’ll be provided with the customer’s mobile number to contact them directly and find out more about the job.

3. Get rated

Your customer will rate you based on quality, value and reliability. Ratings act as ‘word of mouth’ online and are similar to a recommendation from a friend so you can build up your reputation and improve your base of customers online like you would normally.

4. Always be professional

Our mission is to connect homeowners with quality, local tradesmen. We achieve this by providing a service to homeowners that presents them with up to three available tradesmen and lets them choose the tradesman that’s right for them.

A key part of the selection criteria is the ratings system, which lets homeowners choose between tradesman based on the reviews of other homeowners (on quality of work, reliability and value for money). In addition to these ratings the homeowner will also takes into account how well you present yourself and your quote for the proposed work.

We know from the one million homeowners who have used our service to date that they expect high quality work, a tradesman that does what he says he will do, reliably, and to be charged a fair market rate for the work performed. It is also true that they only want to engage with tradesmen who act responsibly, behave politely and are generally nice to work with. We simply call this being “professional.”

Upon joining our service, we therefore ask that all of our tradesmen please adhere to a few basic principles when working with our homeowner community:

  • Be polite and courteous in your dealings with homeowners, remember, their ratings of you will be used by other homeowners in the future
  • Communicate clearly and completely with homeowners, so that both parties know what is going to be done and when, along with the timing of payments
  • Perform work to a high standard and make sure you adhere to the relevant industry standards
  • Deliver on what you agreed to deliver
  • Create a satisfied homeowner (this guarantees future work as you know!)

Tradesman accounts, their ratings and performance may be monitored for the purpose of ensuring that we retain only the highest calibre of tradesman for our service. We reserve the right to remove tradesman from our service who do not adhere to the high standards that we expect.
