Spring has finally sprung! With summer just around the corner, time seems to be flying by, but it does mean that there is good weather and holidays to look forward to over the next few months. With the arrival of the sunshine, it’s time to start thinking about summer wardrobes. However, with the rise of the online shopper comes an increase in basket abandonment. Re-targeting customers who have abandoned their baskets has also shown considerable growth in the past couple of years and with mobile commerce on the increase, the two elements have combined to enable re-targeting through mobile devices. Continuing with the mobile theme, our latest monthly statistics have been released. Key findings show that 14.20% of all sales were through mobile devices (including tablets) – up from 13.70% in February. March also saw us record our one millionth sale through mobile devices this year. It took us until August to reach this milestone in 2012.
