Publisher News

First things first, a massive congratulations to both the Sky and Affiliate Window teams for walking away with this year’s Best Use of Affiliate Marketing award at last week’s New Media Age awards. The competition was stiff with major brands such as Argos, Debenhams, Tesco and many more vying for the top honour. However, the awards themselves recognise the leverage of new media usage in the UK and the teams have certainly demonstrated forward thinking in their approach to innovation and technology.

Last week saw the Grand Hall in Olympia play host to the IDM Academy’s Online Marketing Show 2012. Kevin Edwards, Strategy Director at Affiliate Window was there to give a presentation on Mobile Marketing in the Performance Channel incorporating Affiliate Window data from 2011/2012. The presentation is particularly informative for both advertisers and publishers as the growth of mobile commerce becomes a key component in the way we do business. It’s a time for giving and here at Affiliate Window we recently teamed up with The Encephalitis Society as our chosen charity of the year. Our staff are raring to go and have already organised a variety of grueling fundraising events from the Great British 10k Run this weekend to the 3 Peaks Challenge in late August amongst others.
