Device reporting and how to use it
Have you started using our device reporting yet? With most publishers noticing a decent percent of their traffic coming from users on smart phones, have you considered optimizing the journey for these users?
Hopefully you will have spent time creating a nice responsive mobile site yourself, ensuring that navigation is easy and information readily accessible. The obvious progression from here is to focus on where you’re sending your users afterwards! Our device reporting allows you to do exactly that and here are four quick tips to set you on your way:
1) Click on the Reports tab then ‘Device Reporting’
2) Evaluate what percentage of clicks are coming from mobile devices for your site
3) Check the smart phone conversion rate for the retailers you feature on-site
4) Replace advertisers with poor conversion with those who are optimised for mobile

Tell us something that affiliates might not know about your programme?
The JTX Fitness affiliate programme has commission values which increase depending on how many sales the affiliate makes as we wanted to reward our best performing affiliates. Our default commission is 5% and rises to 8% however we are celebrating our first month with Affiliate Window by doubling our commission values making the default 10% which could rise to 16% based on sales.
Our average order value is £470, our gym quality machines sell for between £139 and £1499. Therefore during November affiliates could earn up to £199.87 on a sale of our JTX Pro 50 Vibration Plate (if on the third tier)
Which months are most important for your brand? When are your key sales periods?
Our fitness equipment sell throughout the year however we do see an increase in sales of vibration machines during the summer months (the ladies getting their bikini bodies) and cross trainers and treadmills in the winter (once it gets cold, wet and dark outside).
January is always an amazing month at JTX Fitness with sales and average order values increasing significantly. We’ve all been there, once all the Christmas food and excitement is over and when you can no longer zip up your favourite jeans, everyone starts January with the New Year resolution to get fitter and lose weight. We expect our affiliates to earn lots more commission during the New Year so recommend they get all their content and banners uploaded now ready for our busiest season
Which methods have you found most effective to motivate your affiliates?
We hate to say money talks- but as JTX Fitness are new to Affiliate Window, offering double commission for our first month has really got our affiliates excited. Just one sale could generate over £100 commission which is a great incentive. In the future, we hope our content, banners and regular incentives along with our sparkling wit will motivate our affiliates.
What’s the best piece of affiliate marketing advice you have been given?
Keep the affiliates happy and they will keep you happy – regular communication with your affiliates will keep your programme fresh and successful.
Which one thing would we always find in your refrigerator?
We love making our juices at JTX HQ so we keep our fridge full of weird and wonderful fruit and veg for when our director decides to get the juicer out.
Do you have any new/big plans for the next few months that affiliates should know about?
Affiliates should start getting ready for our busiest time of year now in time for Christmas and New Year. The next few months are incredibly busy for JTX Fitness as our customers are starting their New Year resolutions.
